According to L'Équipe, Olympique de Marseille will be without a large swathe of their travelling contingent when they play Atalanta on Thursday evening after only 765 tickets were allocated to the away supporters.

The first leg had seen an attendance of around 64,000 fans packed into the febrile Stade Vélodrome as they watched Marseille huff and puff as they tried to break down the Atalanta defence.

The second leg will be a far more intimate event for the two teams. The Gewiss Stadium has been under construction since 2019 which has limited the amount of supporters that can fit into the arena.

Atalanta's home ground can only accommodate 15,300 supporters with the ongoing work meaning Marseille will only be provided with a fraction of its usually significant support (5% of the stadium's current capacity)

Those who were lucky enough to gain access to the limited tickets will be met with a unique away stand that you can only access by crossing through the construction site.
