Sheffield Wednesday and Millwall are both eyeing Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Matthew Craig as a possible summer target, as per Football Insider.

Sheffield Wednesday and Millwall both look as though they’ll be playing Championship football when the start of the 2024/25 season comes around.

The Lions have mathematically confirmed their survival while the Owls are still only three points off the drop but their vastly better goal difference keeps them a safe distance clear of 22nd placed Birmingham City.

Attentions will soon turn to planning for the new campaign, and it is claimed one player on the radars of both second-tier sides is Tottenham Hotspur youngster Matthew Craig.

The 21-year-old Scot has thrived on loan at League Two side Doncaster Rovers over the second half of the season and Football Insider claims his performances have put him on the radars of Sheffield Wednesday and Millwall.

Craig has held down a starting spot in defensive midfield for Grant McCann’s side over their charge to the play-offs. It’s just his first senior loan, and he’s cemented his place as a real prospect.
