Charlton Athletic have managed to tie down the youngster to an extension.

Keeping hold of Campbell is a big boost for Charlton Athletic as they head into next season.

The Addicks are aiming for promotion under Nathan Jones and the prospect gives them more quality in attacking areas.

He has been with the London club for his whole career to date and has risen up through their academy ranks.

Campbell was a regular for the third tier outfit at various youth levels before breaking into their first-team.

He made his debut in a clash against Oxford United back in 2022 and has since made 71 appearances in all competitions, 40 of which came in this past campaign, and he has scored six goals.

The prospect has a bright future ahead of him and will be eager to continue his development over the next couple of years.

Charlton Athletic have become one of the latest teams to publish their retained list following the end of the season.

They have released Richard Chin, Michael Hector, Diallang Jaiyesimi, Jack Payne, Terell Thomas, Lewis Ward, Kazenga LuaLua and Connor Wickham, whilst George Dobson has departed.

Tyreeq Bakinson, Panutche Camará, Lewis Fiorini, Freddie Ladapo, Louie Watson have returned to their parent clubs following the end of their loans.
