Since leaving Aston Villa for Udinese last summer, Keinan Davis has only played 78 minutes for the Serie A side.

That’s the reason Italian fans don’t even know what to expect from him, as he’s had very little time to show his skills in his five appearances so far.

TuttoUdinese say the player has been seen as a ‘mysterious object’ since his move from Aston Villa, because he just wasn’t getting chances.

However, that’s changed and he’s now being celebrated for a second half cameo against Napoli.

Davis is strongly praised for his physical strength, as he managed to repeatedly times fight against two opponents at once, and also for his ball distribution. TuttoUdinese writes ‘the Englishman impresses’, saying he had a ‘hurricane’ impact which helped his side get a draw.

There’s still no guarantee the striker will now get a place in the starting team, as he’s expected to slowly prove himself at Udinese.

Still, even at the end of the season, Udinese fans seem to finally realise the reason why the club spent €2.3m to get him from Aston Villa last summer, and the actual results may only show up in 2024/25.
