Darren Bent has suggested that two Premier League players could become superstars if they joined a club such as Liverpool in the summer transfer window.

Liverpool are going to be fascinating to keep an eye on over the coming months, with Jurgen Klopp set to leave Anfield at the end of the season, and Arne Slot set to come in.

The Reds’ Premier League title charge this season shows that there is plenty for Reds fans to be optimistic about heading into Slot’s tenure.

But perhaps they may look to capture the imagination with a couple of exciting signings over the coming months, and there are certainly a couple of outstanding talents putting themselves in the shop window ahead of the summer.

TBR Football recently reported that Liverpool are one of the sides monitoring Michael Olise ahead of the summer, with the Palace star boasting a release clause in excess of £60 million.

Darren Bent thinks Michael Olise could become a superstar at Liverpool

Olise provided a further reminder of his talent on Monday night as Crystal Palace blew Manchester United away with a 4-0 win at Selhurst Park, with the attacking midfielder scoring twice.

Olise and Eberechi Eze have had phenomenal seasons, with the pair scoring 17 league goals between them despite only making a combined 34 starts.

Speaking to Andy Goldstein on talkSPORT (broadcast on 7/5; 16:16), Darren Bent suggested that the pair could have limitless potential if they ended up at a club like Liverpool.

Bent said: "Can you imagine Olise or Eze going to Man City under Pep's guidance?

Goldstein replied: "I don't know if Olise will work there. You understand what I am saying? Eze maybe, but Olise…"

Bent added: "Free-spirited?"

"Imagine him at Liverpool then. The coaching they are going to get at these clubs, they could turn into superstars. Eze could play wide left, wide right, number 10, I think he could play even, not a holding midfield role but as an 8."

Many Reds fans will hope club do make move for youngster this summer

There are going to be a lot of clubs monitoring what Crystal Palace do this summer, particularly when they look at players currently plying their trade in the EFL.

Olise and Eze have been inspired signings, and the early signs suggest that Adam Wharton has also got a very bright future ahead following his January move from Blackburn.

Liverpool do tend to look for potential value in the market, so you would not be surprised if players such as Olise and Eze were very much on their radar.

Olise, in particular, could prove to be a bargain at around £60 million. Palace fans will surely be braced for a club to make a big push to secure his signature over the coming months.
