Belief 2 clubs tussling to sign Leeds United player for €25m – Price surely delusional if Whites promoted

Juventus and Napoli are eyeing up Crysencio Summerville after his performances for Leeds United this season but may be deluding themselves over his potential asking price.

Repubblica cover the Italian duo's interest in the forward today, explaining that they're both closely following the Dutchman.

Summerville has been the undisputed star of the show for Leeds this season, with 19 goals and nine assists in 43 games in the Championship to date.

He's the third highest goal scorer in the Championship behind Sammy Szmodics and Adam Armstrong and has been earning himself a growing list of admirers thanks to his performances this season.

Juventus and Napoli are among those keeping a close eye on him according to Repubblica and could move for him in the summer, although 'the cost is high' as he's valued at €25m.

That's a figure which is prohibitive, to say the least, for the Italian duo who presumably believe they can get him for less than that figure.

That seems unlikely, particularly if Leeds are able to secure promotion back to the Premier League via the play-offs in the coming weeks.

Even if they aren't then it seems unlikely, they'd be willing to sell for that figure, which would surely be considered low given the performances he's put in this season.

This instead feels more like the usual, delusional early interest from Italian sides, who are always reluctant to spend if they can avoid it.
