Nottingham Forest fans are all saying the same thing after the club discovered their final FFP outcome.

Forest were deducted four points earlier in the season – with Forest launching an immediate appeal.

The Reds have been trying to take care of matters on the pitch and won 3-1 at Sheffield United on Saturday.

That result puts them three clear of Luton and five clear of Burnley, with Forest due to meet the Clarets on the last day.

Forest play Chelsea first this weekend and hopefully, they can edge closer to safety for another season.

After today’s verdict that the appeal process has been unsuccessful, Forest fans have taken to X to discuss their frustrations.

Well, it’s fair to say that pretty much all of the Forest fans are saying the same thing.

This news is hardly surprising and the timing of the announcement is quite intriguing.

It just seems strange that after Forest bettered the results of Burnley and Luton at the weekend, giving the Reds points back would probably end the battle for survival.

Now, the script still looks set for the media darlings Luton to secure the great escape.

They have to beat West Ham, however, to give themselves a chance of taking it to the final day of the season.

Forest fans are intrigued by the outcome but ultimately, they are all saying the same sort of things after this verdict came to light.

One fan did actually make a good point after the whole thing drew to a closer.

He took to X to suggest that Forest had actually got lucky, suggesting that the club were lucky that the initial punishment was only four points in the first place.
