Everton shareholders have released a tense statement regarding 777 Partners.

"There are a lot of players I am super pleased with here – the young players.. you know, it is not just Jarrad (Branthwaite), Jimmy (Garner) has had a good season. Myko continues to develop. Youssef (Chermiti), I thought he did great last week and did well again when he came on, he is adapting. There is a lot of challenges for these players, but they are beginning to come together as a group and we have seen that. And it has rewarded us, of course, and the fans," says Sean Dyche. [EFC]

Nottingham Forest remain in hot water following their failed appeal to overturn their four-point penalty. Meanwhile the Blues still await the result of their own appeal of the two-point penalty they received.

Although Everton's last home match of the season takes place this Saturday against Sheffield United, it will not be the last match for Goodison Park, as the Blues are set to host a charity match for EitC on Saturday, May 18th. [EFC]

What to Watch

Champions League second-leg semi-final action continues today, with Real Madrid taking on Bayern Munich. Yesterday Borussia Dortmund beat PSG 1-0 (2-0 on aggregate).
